We have advised producers/farmers on the Planting and Processing methods in East Timor, Indonesia and Thailand for both Arabica and Robusta coffee. This ranged from the germination of seedlings to planting of seedlings in cleared lands for growing (Picture above: Coffee plantation in Indonesia).
The cleared land would include the planting of shade trees and allocating accurate spacings for the growing of coffee plants. Other aspects include the proper use of fertilizers, picking of ripe cherries for processing.
